Wow its been awhile since i digitally colored something lol.Okay if you don't already know i have another interest...CRASH BANDICOOT
!! About a month ago i decided to play the older PS1 Crash games and i got hooked into them xD. When i was younger i played them but i never could complete them %100 so i decided to give them a try again and i was able to complete Crash 2 and 3 Warped in a few weeks 
.And to start off a new fanart obsession i drew my most favorite character in the series DINGODILE! When i was in 3rd grade Dingodiles was the only things i drew at that time for some reason. I got so into them that i made my own fan characters based off of Dingodiles
.The background is based off of the level in Crash Bandicoot Warped ( Crash 3 ) where you get to fight Dingodile.
I hope you like this awesome pic of Dingodile ^_^. Since I'm not used to drawing in this style yet i used a reference to get me started. Here is the ref that i used [link]
I also decided that I'm going to bring back the dingodile fan character idea and remake a female version so get ready for that ^_- .

When i was in 3rd grade i absolutely WORSHIPPED Dingodile like no other xD!! I kept making fan character's out of them which is sorta a weird character to make fan character's of lol.
I still love how this pic came out ^^. I am so proud of it especially how realistic that fire looks .

Oh don't say that xD. Your background came out pretty good too. Yours is great for a computer wallpaper and also for wallpapers for PS3's and such. And if you ever wanted to make personalized calenders that would be perfect too x3.
I was originally just going to make a plain background or even make it transparent,but then i realized that is far too boring so i came up with this
Coloring Dingodile was VERY time consuming but it was well worth it. I think it took about 3 to 4 hours to fully complete this pic while taking some breaks once in a while xD. Since i really like how this style came out I'll use this style when i draw more Crash Bandicoot characters including my own fan characters when i create them

I'll tell you a little secret with colouring
I can see that you've got a soft cell shading style going on there, I don't know how exactly this would work with gimp? but I'll mention it anyway
When I started with this account I was airbrushing only. For a while I was thinking what would happen if I cell shaded over that airbrushing? I think it started with Examon and then went further with Arresterdramon.
That style probably works more with lined work but who knows what you can do with it

There's a lot of different things that you can do in GIMP,you just need to figure out how to do them which is slowly what I'm trying to do xD.
Yeah i looked at your Examon and Arresterdramon to get a better idea of what your talking about and i do see what your trying to tell me. I always wondered how you did that but i guess i know now.
I think i will give that a try someday. I'm not sure what i can use for an example but I'll think of something.

I was so proud of how Dingodile came out and the whole pic in general x3. My favorite part of this whole drawing has got to be the fire because it looks so realistic ^^ .
Hmm for the fire all i really do is use a blurred paintbrush tool and the smudge tool .That's all i use really

My favorite villain was diffidentely Dingodile and my younger brothers favorite was between Tiny and Koala Kong xD.
For the older PS1 games i always chose Dingodile in Crash Bash and Team Racing
