Nice improvement
I would suggest making the outlines (and the eyes/mouth) a little darker, to make it easier to see them. I would also remove as much unused space as possible.

Nope. I think you should be a real emoticonist before bothering about an OC. Make emoticons everybody can use first, then treat yourself with personal ones.
