Description

Part 1:

    You walked through the darkness, the light behind you fading as you ventured forward. This was it, and all you could do now was to move forward. You came along a long hallway, you felt along the wall with your hand, the stick in the other, you felt the wall turn and you could feel the empty space of an opening, you finally decide to go through the corridor.

Inside you could see some light, you wandered forward to it and saw a single yellow flower, you approach it and it spoke.

  "Howdy! I'm Flowey. Flowey the Flower!"

You froze, startled at the new creature, a flower that could talk....You stared at it in awe, the flower maintained a bright smile.

  "Hmmm...You're new in the UNDERGROUND aren't you?"

You blinked a few times and nodded slowly, holding your stick with both hands your body getting jittery.

  "Golly, you must be so confused."

The flower, or Flowey continued, you continued to listen to what it was saying to you.

    "Someone ought to teach you how things work around here! I guess little old me will have to do."

You nodded and smiled, your body relaxing as you thought of him as a friend. Flowey smiled again, "Ready? Here we go!"

You smiled at Flowey and you saw your ( color ) heart come out of your chest and hover in front of you, you looked at it mesmerized, you reached to touch it but Flowey interrupted your actions.

  "See that heart? That is your SOUL, the very culmination of your being!" He said with glee, you smiled and started walking around with it hovering in front of you. You smiled and stopped, hearing him start up again.

    "Your SOUL starts out weak, but it can grow strong if you gain a lot of LV."

    You looked at him confused, not sure what he meant by the two letters, he smiled more, "What's LV stand for? Why, LOVE, of course." You smiled and nodded, fully trusting the kindness of Flowey. "You want some LOVE don't you?" You smiled and nodded, "Don't worry I will share some with you!"

    He winked and you saw a little star appear from his wink, it faded after. He looked off to the side but kept his smile, five little stars hung above him, "Down here, LOVE is shared through.....little white..."friendliness pellets". He looked back at you, smiling still, you smiling back, "Are you ready?"

    The little stars started to move close to you, you smiled and watched them. "Move around! Get as many as you can!" He said gleefully. You smiled and moved to catch them, as soon as you touch one you felt a sincere pain, you collapsed and held your chest. Pain shot through you and you looked back at Flowey, his smile was twisted wide and he looked nothing like the flower you had saw before.

    "You idiot. In this world it's kill or BE killed. Why would ANYONE pass up an opportunity like this!?"

    You gasped and you saw yourself surrounded in the little stars, you looked back up at Flowey, his face was demonic and evil all over.

"DIE."
    He laughed loudly and sinister, the stars coming closer to you, no escape, pain shot through your chest and you shut your eyes bracing eminent death.

    But you felt the pain quickly disappear and the stars went away, Flowey had a confused look on his face, you saw a light and a fireball hit him out of sight, another being came into view, you looked up at them.

"What a terrible creature, torturing such a poor and innocent youth." The being said, the voice very soft and feminine. You teared up slightly, scared that they were going to hurt you too.

"Ah, do not be afraid my child. I am TORIEL, caretaker of the RUINS. I pass through this place everyday to see if anyone has fallen down."

    You slowly stood back on your feet, holding the stick tightly in your grasp, looking up at her. She was wearing a purple tunic with some sort of emblem on the front, she had the head of a goat, her eyes were soft and gentle, carefully watching you.

"You are the first human to come down here in a long time. Come! I will guide you through the catacombs."

    You looked around again and then back at her. "This way." She said before walking off in a direction, you followed after her she walked through another doorway and you came in after her, only to see her waiting for you. The room she brought you into was purple and stone, some leaves were scattered between a stair way that broke off into two ways, you slowly approached them.

    The shadows of the ruins looms above....it fills you with DETERMINATION.

    As you came around to the middle Toriel took a staircase to the top and you followed after her, on the opposite side of the stairs, she entered another doorway, you following her further into the catacombs. Yet again she was waiting for you, "Welcome to your new home, innocent one. Allow me to educate you in the operation of the RUINS." There was a few stepping rocks on the side, she walked over them in what looked to be a pattern, she finally hit a lever and the door in front of you both opened. She came back to you, "The RUINS are full of puzzles. Ancient fusions between diversions and doorkeys. One must solve them to move room to room. Please adjust yourself to the sight of them."

You looked at the steps she was just on, you walk over to them and looked at them carefully, she smiled softly at you and walked off to the next room. You looked up to look at her, but she was gone, you noticed a sign by the doorway, it read.

ONLY THE FEARLESS MAY PROCEED.BRAVE ONES. FOOLISH ONES. BOTH WALK NOT THE MIDDLE ROAD.
You looked at it curiously, not entirely sure what it meant, but you shrugged and walked to the next room where Toriel was waiting. She smiled at you and said, "To make progress here you will need to trigger several switches. Do not worry I have labeled the ones that you need to flip." You nodded and she walked down the path, you were about to follow her until you saw another sign, you walked over to it and read it, it said:

STAY ON THE PATH.
You looked around the new room, it was very long and had water pathways with makeshift bridges over them, you follow the path down them and noticed the vines growing on the walls. You finally caught up to Toriel, she was waiting for you, you looked at her and she nodded to the wall, you looked over at it and you saw a switch with bright yellow drawings on them, arrows pointing to the switch. You go over to it and flipped it, it made no noise and was easy to switch, you turn to Toriel but she was already leaving without you, you smiled and followed after her.

She was waiting for you again, in front of some spikes in the ground, you looked at the wall again and saw two switches, one with the yellow labeling and one without, you go over to them and switched the one with the label, "Splendid." Toriel commented, "I am proud of you, little one. Let us move to the next room." She walked off again, curious you looked back at the second switch and went to flip it. You soon realized that the switch didn't even work, you shrugged again and walked off to catch up with Toriel.

She welcomed you again with a warm smile, "As a human living in the UNDERGROUND, monsters may attack you. You will need to be prepared for this situation. However, worry not! The process is simple. When you encounter a monster, you will enter a FIGHT. While you are in a FIGHT, strike up a friendly conversation. Stall for time. I will come to resolve the conflict.'

She turned her attention from you to a stitched up looking doll, you looked at it as well, "Practice talking to the dummy." She said before walking to another opening to another room, you nodded and walked up to the dummy.

YOU ENCOUNTER THE DUMMY

You saw your ( color ) heart over your chest again, you gasped softly and looked at it, you then noticed four boxes in front of you, they were orange words that read:

FIGHT
ACT
ITEM
MERCY

You slowly reached to the ACT and it brought up another box that looked like a menu it read:

* Dummy

You tap it with your hand and it had another set of options:

* Check * Talk

You looked at the two options questionably, you hit the * Talk remembering what Toriel told you to do before.

It doesn't seem much for conversation
Toriel seemed happy watching you, she came over to collect you.

You WON! You earned 0 XP and 0 Gold
"Ah, very good. You are very good." Toriel praised and walked to the next room again. You followed after her, she met you yet again, "There is another puzzle in this room. I wonder if you can solve it." She smiled, you looked around the room, it was another long room, the path was everywhere, not fully in a straight line. Toriel started walking, you followed behind her, when you come to a hallway you froze, your heart appearing again.

Froggit attacks you!

You saw the same menu like before, remembering what Toriel said before you tap the * Act and it gave you three options.

*Check * Compliment * Threat

You looked slightly confused, still new to this new phase, you tap the * Compliment and waited to see what would happen.

Froggit didn't understand what you said, but was flattered anyway.
You watched the Froggit and saw it's face fall into shame as Toriel came into view.

You WON! You earned 0 XP and 0 Gold
You smiled at her and your heart faded back into your chest, she smiled and started to walk again, you follow her until you found another sign, it read:

THE WESTERN ROOM IS THE EASTERN ROOM'S BLUEPRINT
You weren't sure what that meant, but you turned and kept up with Toriel, you both came to a water cross, the way across was covered in spikes, you looked up at Toriel. "This is the puzzle, but..." She started, she looked off to the side then back at you, smiling, offering you her hand, "Here take my hand for a moment." You nodded and gently held her fuzzy one, she lead you across the spikes, the both of you not getting hurt, she watched you carefully.

"Puzzles seem a little too dangerous for now." She said before walking to the next room, you following after her, "You have done excellently thus far, my child. However...I have a difficult request to ask of you." You looked at her expectantly, she looked off to the side yet again, then back at you, she took a breath and then finally said, "I would like you to walk to the end of the room by yourself." She said, then finally said, "Forgive me for this." Before hurrying off, you knowing full well that you would not be able to catch up with her.

In no time she was out of sight, you looked confused but DETERMINED, you looked around the room, it was very long and the path jumped up and down as you kept walking, vines were on the wall, some cluttered one area others strayed away. You came to the end and saw a singular white pillar, you looked at it curiously. Toriel came out from behind it, she looked triumphant, "Greetings, my child. Do not worry I did not leave you. I was merely behind this pillar this whole time. Thank you for trusting me. However there was an important reason for this exercise......to test your independence. I must attend to some business, and you must stay alone for a while. Please remain here. It's dangerous to explore by yourself."

  She said and then thought for a moment, you looked down thinking quietly to yourself, "I have an idea," She said, pulling you out of your thoughts, "I will give you a CELL PHONE. If you have a need for anything just call. Be good alright?" You nodded, she gave you a little flip phone and smiled gently at you, you smiled back and she walked off, you were alone again, holding a stick in one hand and the phone in the other. You go over to the pillar and sat down, your back on it, you set your stick down and play with the newly acquired item.
