Back to the Night Watch. This is Book 24: The Fifth Elephant.
Quick Recap: Discworld is indeed a flat planet on the back of four elephants who are in turn on the back of a giant turtle. There is said to a fifth elephant buried in the disc as sometimes ivory and lard are mined from the earth.
Commander Vimes is thrust into the role of diplomat as he and some of his Night Watch travel to Uberwald, Discworld's version of Germany, Romania and other East European countries, to barter with the soon-to-be King of the Dwarves for Ankh-Morpork to access the lard from their mines. While there, Werewolves, led by Sergeant Angua's estranged brother trapped Vimes in a deadly game where all Vimes can do is outrun the werewolves without any weapons or armor, in snowy terrain, until dawn.
