Hmm... You've already pointed out the lack of proportion on the girl, but I'd like to specify what you could've done. The problem isn't so that she's out of proportion, but the way her thighs connect with her pelvis. Dunno if you've done this, but drawing a rough sketch with some "x-ray" to see if everything fits well can be a great help for more complex posing, like this case. Like that you would be able to see the girl's overall form, making it easier to draw her pose.

Also, I said she isn't overall out of proportion, but I must point out that her hands are too small. So you get the idea, an opened hand (palm+fingers) can almost cover up a person's face. Use that for proportion reference. And, while the guy looks ok overall, you could've done the guy's shoulders a lil' wider. Not only for obvious reasons (he's a man), but it'd also make it easier for the girl to "fit" into the composition.

All in all, it's a pretty simple, yet cute picture. The expressions look nice and the lil' heart over them is a nice touch.
