-Reader pov-

-Inside your dream-
Ciel looked at me with loving eyes, the intensity of his blue captivating me as I continued to stare back at him.

“You look beautiful tonight ___. How could I be so lucky as to have you by my side tonight.”

“What are you talking about master--”

“What did I say about calling me that __! You are to address me with my first name, if I am to remind you again you will receive punishment, although I think you would enjoy that love.” He smirked at me and sipped from his tea cup.

It took me a moment to register where we were and what we were doing, I was in a beautiful night dress. The shades of red complimented my skin as it was a heart shape cut. The cut made my breasts look full and perky. Looking up from my body I noticed the table, food was spread in front of us smelling absolutely divine. The candle light made it have a more intimate and romantic feel. Over in the shadows I saw a figure, all I could make out was the shape of a man. His white teeth were all I could see as he continued to stand there and watch us.

“Why do you distress love?” Ciel’s voice caught my attention. Turning my gaze to him I shook my head picking up my fork eating the dinner in front of me.

“What do you mean?”

“You look as if you are seeing ghost, your face is pale.”

“I am a bit worried, considering there is a shadow watching us as we eat.”

He looked to the side putting his tea cup down, his once affectionate expression turned cold as he stood up. He was taller in my dream and he stood in front of me.

“Who are you, and what do you want with us?” The shadow only chuckled darkly, laughter erupting from it in a high shriek.

“My dear boy, you dare stand up to me, do you not know who I am?”

“Frankly I don’t give a damn of who you are, you are invading our time together, and I won’t allow you to continue to make my love unhappy.”

The smirk grew on the shadows face.

“You think by protecting your loved one here, it will make up for your failure in protecting your parents so many years ago! You think by being a man now it will show her you can protect her!”

Ciel gritted his teeth, the sound of his jaw locking as he stared at the figure in front of him as it continued to talk.

“You feel angry now don’t you boy…but do you want to see how easy it would be to take her away from you.”
The shadow looked towards me, reaching his hand out to me, I felt my heart beat slow down. Everything around me was fading and spinning. ‘What’s happening?! Ciel---h-help me please.’

-out of your dream-

Gasping for air, I panted heavily gripping the sheets in my fingertips. Ciel shook me gently as he tried to calm me down. “____, what’s wrong, are you hurt. Can you hear me?” Looking at his concerned face, I felt the tears building up in my (Color) eyes. I couldn’t do anything but wrap my arms around his neck burying my face in his chest and cry. He held me in his arms rubbing my (length/color) hair trying to console me. “It’s going to be alright, I will protect you. Whatever nightmare you had, I won’t let it come true.”
After 20 minutes of crying, I looked up at his wet chest, he lifted my chin making me look up at him. We looked at each other for which seemed like forever until he leaned in and brought me back to reality. He brought his lips to mine in a passionate kiss. Closing my eyes, I let him kiss me, he placed a hand on my cheek bringing me in closer as he slipped his tongue into my mouth. Groaning from the contact, my body jerked. I opened my mouth welcoming his taste, the flavor of tea and cakes exploded into my mouth.
He gently put me down on my pillow getting on top of me, I felt the warmth of his half naked body on mine and moaned at the feeling of his hands groping my chest. He massaged my mounds of flesh groaning in satisfaction. My hands snaked their way up his back into his dark hair entangling themselves. He bit my bottom lip tugging at it lightly causing me to whimper. Soon the sound of a knock was coming from my door. He swore under his breath getting off of my body walking irritated to the door. Unlocking it, he opened it looking up at Sebastian with a glare. “My apologies master, but we do have work that we need to do today.” Sebastian gave him a polite bow looking over at me from the door with a cold gaze. I felt the shiver go up my spine as he continued to look at me.

“Couldn’t this wait until tomorrow, I had plans to spend the day with ___.”

“Yes but something really important came up that needs your attention, if you want I can spend the day with her in your place, would you like me to do that?”

A smirk painted itself on Sebastian’s face, when he rose from his bow breaking his gaze away from me to stare at his master. My cheeks did fade into a light shade of red when he said he would be spending the day with me instead of Ciel, I mean I was hoping it could be me and Ciel but if something did come up then I would have no choice but to be patient with him. It’s not like we are dating in the first place; I am not his fiancée either so I cannot claim his attention whenever I please. I pulled the blankets off the bed wrapping them around my body as I walked over to my bedroom door to Ciel placing a hand on his shoulder.

“If you have to work I understand. I can always wait for you to come back another time. “

He looked over at me with sad eyes, leaning in he kissed my lips before taking his leave. Sebastian stayed behind watching his master make his way downstairs before turning his gaze back towards me.

“I hope you know that the young master has duties that need to be fulfilled. And some girl such as yourself cannot distract him from such things.” His words were harsh but they did make sense, perhaps I was just a toy that master uses when he has spare time.

“I-I understand Sebastian.”

“No I don’t think you do, you are his maid and that should be your only title in his mind. There is no way I can allow you, a simple girl and maid to begin a romance with someone like my master. “

I held my blankets tightly to my body as I absorbed his words, the tears threatening to spill from my eyes again. This morning started off horrible, then I woke up to the most beautiful sight I could have ever seen in my life only to have that sight snatched away from me in a matter of seconds due to harsh words being thrown at my face. Why was Sebastian doing this to me, what had I done to deserve such treatment. If I were think about this in a logical point of view, I was pleasing my master’s personal needs as his maid…but no wait, what is it that I was really doing right now. Right now isn’t the time to think logical, I know for a fact that now I have a strong desire for my master, not just physically but emotionally as well. Was I really ready to accept that now...?

“Sebastian, why are you doing this to me? Why are you treating me so horribly, what have I done to deserve this treatment?”

He looked at me with shock, although his facial expression never changed you could see it in his eyes. I was never one to stand up for myself, I always did what he said without a word. But now is different and I can tell he felt the fight I was ready to put up with him.

“Does one really need a reason to treat you the way you deserve to be treated.”

“The way I DESERVE to be treated, just what do you think I am? I am not some slave, I do not deserve to be treated like something you can walk all over and wipe your feet on. I am a person, I deserve to be treated as such and not as a doormat.”

“You stupid girl, why can’t you see the danger you are. You will regret ever meeting my master if you continue to pursue such relations with him. Didn’t your dream show you that enough when you nearly died.”

He walked away from me heading towards his master’s bedroom leaving me there in awe; at a loss for words. ‘How did he know about my dream. That horrible, horrible dream that I never wish to relive a day in my life. But then that means, I really did almost die...in my sleep. And the shadow man, he’s going to come after me if I continue to be with Ciel.’ That thought alone was enough to frighten me. Running to my closet I pulled out a suitcase and went through my drawers taking some of my clothes throwing them in the suitcase. I heard the loud noise of the front door closing which meant I had a few hours to get ready to leave quietly. I saw tears drop onto my hands as I packed the suitcase completely, I threw on a pair jeans and a shirt. Finding a hat, I tucked my (length/color) hair under it. Finding a piece of paper, I wrote a letter addressed to whoever finds it on the night table next to my bed. I fixed up my room looking at all the emptiness inside it from the door. I ran down the stairs nearly running into Mey-rin and Finnian on the way down, I didn’t look back when they shouted my name to come back and wait.

I ran away from the estate, away from Sebastian, the others, and away from Ciel. I hope he can forgive me for this, but I have to keep him and I safe, even if it means running away from my only happiness I’ve ever felt.
