Description
Before daytime existed, the sun used to livecaged within my ribs,
throwing itself at its prison's bars occasionally
I wanted it to stop burning my heart like it did
so one day I broke open my ribcage
and it lurched out and floated up into the sky
and now that I was at peace
I wasn't quite sure what to do with myself
so I settled down to go to sleep,
since I no longer had anything to wake me up
