Description
some turtles seem to thinkthey’re on top of the world,
with no need for
anyone but themselves
until you
flip them on their back
I enjoy watching them
struggling and begging,
“please,
turn me over,
I‘ll be late getting to the office”
but I never put them upright.
they wouldn’t say
“thank you”
if I did, anyway.
