Lyra: *sighs* Nimbasa City, home of the Unova Pokemon Ranger HQ. Time to go get signed up...once I figure out where I'm going. *looks at her map*
???: H-Hey knock it off, I'm gonna be late for the Ranger sign ups!
Lyra: Huh? *looks over to see a boy being harassed by 3 thugs*
Thug 1: *laughs, kicks him down* Yea right, like a runt like you is gonna be a ranger. You're better off gettin' on the next train and givin' up.
???: I never said I was signing up as a--Wah!!
Thug 2: *picks him up by the collar of his shirt and pins him to the wall* Listen you little squirt, don't go back talkin' the boss like that!

???: Oh man, I was in such a rush I didn't even read that part. Helping my Dad out with the Eevee really takes up prep time?
Lyra: Eevee...that guy called you 'Eevee boy', I take it you're a breeder?
Aiden: Yep, all the way from Celadon City, uh, that's in Kanto by the way. I'm Aiden, Aiden Kodachi, but everyone calls me Koda.
Lyra: Lyra Tano, but Lyra will do me fine. *they sit on a bench* So what's a breeder from Kanto doing here in Unova?
Aiden: Well...I didn't want to spend my whole life on the ranch, I've got a goal so big that it's gonna put me in the record books. I wanna travel, see the world, help people and Pokemon alike. I'm just a small town breeder, but I'm much more skilled than people think.
