Well first of all I'm going to say is well done, The color's really nice, And you've set it out nicely but all I think you should put a bit more effort in the animation itself. Maybe you could put a few more frames in this, Because the eyes just look like they are turning black, Maybe you should make half of the eye black and then make it all black after you've done that,
Good try keep practicing.
Second I think you could put a background in to make it look more intresting!

Well the art is very good. Try to keep the eyes equal and add more frames this is just 2 frames try 10 frames. Try to make it like humans blinks it did take a while for the cat to blink try speed it up with Iaza. And the animation is a bit too simple I've seen it alot of times this animation pose. Maybe the fur could have some shading and lightening if possible :3. I liked how it closed its eyes Other than that it is very good for a first animation. I give this a 5/10 c:

It's nice for a first... but it's not really an animation. There aren't enough frames here. It's only two frames and that's it.
Visually, it doesn't /fully/ look like an animation since, again, there isn't enough frames. To make it look smooth, put some in-between frames in there. For example, instead of making Minty have his eyes closed, then immediately after have his eyes open, make a frame where his eyes are a little bit open. Then make a frame where his eyes are almost open, and a frame where his eyes are almost closed. Put those in order the way it is, and speed up the frame rate a little.
Experiment with things like this. The more you practice, the better you'll get uvu

The art is great as seen in the rest of your gallery, but it took me quite a while to wait for the little kitten, Minty (or Bandit) to blink! I suggest using Iaza.com , as I do.
Besides of the cons I pretty much love the way the light blue eyes go against the grey and black, even the grey against the red!
In any other words Its pretty cute!
But any way, the fur could use a little shading and lightening as well and the eyes could sparkle if you tried any techniques.
All in all this would be rated an 6 in 1 to 10 :3

I haven't critiqued in a while, so I'll offer you my opinion. The animation itself isn't very good, although it's better than my first time. Blinking animations take more frames than one, so I'd say next time add more. It will make the animation quality much more fluent and realistic. I'm also assuming that you only used two frames throughout the entire process, so I'd still advise you to use more than that, plus you should speed up the timing of the frames. However, if you simply repeated two frames a few times, then I'm sorry for the misjudgement.
I won't bother criticizing the artwork itself, because I'm sure you only wanted to be critiqued on the animation. You did okay for the first time, but there's definitely room for a lot of improvement here. Just keep practicing and you'll get better.
