This is my first time participating in any contest; especially one that deals with ponies. But I'm very excited nonetheless!
It is also my first contribution to 's Contest for the cutest Twilight Sparkle...who I haven't drawn until now. xD I made her cheeks a little more chubby because I was going for a "cute and smooshed" look; like when a child is pouting because they want something.
I know I probably won't win, but at least I tried, right?

UPDATE:

Turns out, I didn't win the contest, but I had a lot of fun working on this piece so it was worth the effort!

Thank you for checking out my art anyway~ Just thought I'd throw in that this was a great learning experience...I think I'll try my hand at the rest of the mane six sometime soon.
