Machiavellian: One of those "for the greater good" or "the ends justify the means" types.
Sociopath: Has high difficulty feeling emotion, or empathy. Doesn't always understand when they're hurting people, or at any rate doesn't care. These are your con artists, and organized crime/mafia types.
Sadistic: Enjoys torturing people, and especially drawing blood. Even to the point of getting off on it.
Psychopathic: Has the inability to control one's rage, and will not easily calm down if angered. Usually they either: A) Immediately lash out physically or more often: B) Obsess over revenge and plan out long and elaborate murder plans to take them out. Usually psychopath refers to B rather than A, but A is clincally psycopathic but only in extremes. Usually A type isn't even considered psychopathic, just poor anger managers. (Depends on whether or not they murder and overkill.)
