I stumbled across this image of yours quite a while back, and fell in love with it. I actually ended up getting it tattooed just a few weeks ago, as it developed into a deeper meaning for me. There was a girl named Amanda who I was friends with; she was absolutely the most amazing, inspiring, and beautiful person I have ever met. She was killed in a car accident on May 14, 2011, a week before she was to graduate high school. Amanda had an affinity for antique pocketwatches, something we had in common, which brought me back to find this drawing. It's a beautiful reminder to me to use the time you have on this earth wisely because you never know how much you have. Amanda inspired more people in her 18 years than most people have in a "full" lifetime, because she made every second count. This drawing was the most perfect thing I could think of to hold her memory with me forever, and I just wanted to tell you that you are an outstanding artist. Thank you for unknowingly contributing to such an important moment in my life.

This is gorgeous! And I have to admit I went "aww" when I read about what she wants to do with the hands. Beautiful work. Would you mind if I attempted to use design as beginning idea for a tattoo of my own? Wouldnt be exact, but similiar.
