Do you do sketches before the outline? Usually I just do circles and boxes as the sketches, but it helps a lot with proportions.

Yup I do sketches. The only circle I do it the head . I might try doing it with the whole body but
my circles are always uneven.But I can always practice.

It doesn't have to be even. It's just what I do for the general sizing.
Do whatever suits you, you don't have to use my idea. ^^
