Thelonious is a forest and earth sorcerer and one of the bosses in Inkwell Isle One.

Thelonious grew up in Inkwell Isle One with his father, Cypress who was a powerful sorcerer of forest and earth raising the young boy alone after his mother died of unknown illness whom that Thelonious inherited his powers from his father who taught him well and later very soon, his father passed away of unknown cause when he is eighteen years old; he is practicing his earth and forest powers throughout the years. One day there was a wildfire struck in the forest so Thelonious must do his best to rescue the creatures of Forest Follies and Treetop Trouble from the huge flames, after that all of the trees were burnt and he is been trying to regrow them with his powers but it is not strong enough to make everything in the forest grow then he set out to look for the answers then finds himself wound up in the Devil's Casino. As he gets in there, King Dice greeted him and Thelonious tells him that he is looking for answers and for gambling; Interested so King Dice took him to the casino owner who was the Devil himself who heard about Thelonious's problem after the wildfire and his powers were not strong enough to regrow the forest so then the young earth and forest sorcerer signed away his soul and his powers became very strong but at the same time very dangerous and the forest miraculously regrown.

He and Roselia were been together in love since their friendship in their childhood. Thelonious met her when her leg is wounded and he helped her and patched up her wound then he decided to walk her back home and becomes best friends as they played with each other. Years passed, Thelonious suddenly developed a crush on Roselia since they were been together throughout the years, he suffered a slight depression when Roselia is been together with a mikan farmer, Kirros and not talking to him for a long time ignoring him as Thelonious holding up his feelings towards her until Kirros died in a train accident. After he got defeated and got his soul contract taken by the Cup Bros., Roselia patched him up remembering their childhood times how he did to her when her leg is wounded as Roselia apologized to him for being away from him then Thelonious admit his feelings towards her and was slightly upset when she got to be together with Kirros until his death and how much he missed her very much as Roselia started to fell in love with him and smiled as she embraced him which made an official couple while Cuphead and Mugman being a third wheel.

Thelonious hates it when Hilda teased and calling him fat even though he is skinny, Thelonious is been checking up the scale about his pounds(Based on Moxxie and Loona's relationship).

He had a unique skills of playing a harp since his father taught him well as a child and his music called, "Melody Nature" before his death; Thelonious will play it for his friends.

His favorite childhood memory which is he and Roselia rebuilding up trees together in the forest whenever they were cut down already.

Thelonious got a friendship bracelet with a rose on it which it represents his friendship with Roselia, he always wears it so he won't forget about her.

~~Battle In-Game~~

Thelonious's level is located in Inkwell Isle One which is a bag end, neighboring Ribby and Croaks' level. Before the battle begins, Thelonious is seen sitting on the vine swing, looking at his friendship bracelet remembering his time with Roselia as kids then looks at Cuphead and Mugman and calls Carnelian the Ram to take care of the Cup Bros. before lifting himself up away.

In the first stage, Carnelian leaped out of nowhere and begin to attack the player/s. Carnelian uses his charging ram attack on the player/s from left or right which the player/s must avoid him with a jump or smoke bomb dash. He will jump up with a high boost which he will smash the player/s with his hooves in direct target. Carnelian also pull out a peach bomb and throws them at the player/s, it will burst out fire waves if missed and one of them can get parried. When he gets defeated, Carnelian is crying in pain having two lumps on his head, his horns were cracked and got a black eye as he crawled away in pain making Thelonious completely upset as the second phase begins. In the second stage, Two floating big leaves appeared as a platform and Thelonious will either appear dropping down sitting on the vine swing on the left or right doing some stragedies against the player/s. Thelonious will attack the player/s by summoning some tree roots that would jabbed them from the ground and even also smack the player/s by summoning a vine as a whip whenever on above or below which the player/s must dodge from. He will summon up fern birds that will fly around the area and they can be destroyed occasionally. Thelonious summoned up five aura of leaves then shoots them with his finger gun hand pose and one of them is parriable. Once defeated in the second phase, he will whistles out a tree titan then the titan arrived picking Thelonious up then the leaf platforms float up along with the ground platform with the player/s on it; Thelonious is seen sitting on the tree titan's shoulder as the final phase begins. In the third and final stage, Thelonious summoned four floating shrubs on the corners by snapping his fingers; the shrubs will spit out some berries and of them can get parried and they can be defeated to launch them at the titan which that would damage it(Similiar to Chef Saltbaker's second phase). Thelonious will command the titan with some stragedies to attack the player/s; The titan will grabbed and squeeze the player/s with his tree hands which the player/s must dodge to another platform; the titan picks up a large scorpion from below and slowly pulls it from the right or left side and throws the scorpion away. The fern birds will continued the phase.

Once defeated, the tree titan will stumble around dizzy having holes and cuts all over it's body as Thelonious holds onto it for his dear life. In Simple Mode, Thelonious will not call the tree titan but instead when he got defeated, Thelonious fell down from the swing vine, his clothes got ripped patches all over and he got bandaids all over his face then dropped down in a dazed manner in second phase.
