This is different for me: Cartoons that are not anime.Well, anyway, got into a new show....one thing led to another and....yeah <<; I tried to draw him anime style seeing as how I'm used to that.

Well they wanted the style to be anime, so even if you draw him that way it won't make much of a difference in the style.
Anyway not bad, yet a bit short on the lower body and the left arm looks kinda odd in that position.

Yeah I know. Its the first fanart I've ever done of him so it was kind of a test run. Not to mention I didn't look at any references while doing it...

It's good to know that you didn't use reference and try doing it by memory. Keep it up tho it's not bad if you look for some reference for later you get the hang of drawing the character well.
