          Cathleen was very Anti-Social going through training, she knew they all were going to die at some point but didn’t want to risk getting attached to anyone else but Elizabeth. She was very confident with her skills and training. She was really quiet around others and never spoke up only mumbled. She was independent most the time never liked help from others and liked to figure things out on her own. She tended to be very hard-headed when people corrected her on doing something wrong. She had a lot of hesitation when she came face -to-face with a titan alone she knew she could do it but tinned to over think things. She feared getting attached to others and having to bare the pain of losing them so she was normally a loner

Cathleen is highlywouldn't really say highly but yeah… intelligent, she read deeper into what she’s being told and if what she’s told to do goes wrong, she would normally think of think of a way to get her and her partner out alive. She does come with plans or stageies but fears they might fail and get people killed. She grew to have more confidence in herself and started trusting others. She is strong willed and doesn't fear going into battle head first. She is soft spoken around everyone, but Beth, she feared being shot down or that her ideas were “stupid” or she might say something wrong.  She is independent and prefers working alone because she is frighten that she might be the reason why she got her teammate killed. She is VERY emotional I cannot stress that enough after she lost the closet person to her and really doesn't know how to handle it very well so she tends to show her emotions a lot and tries to connect to others that feel the same.
Development: Her development was during the Female Titan Arc and a little after. After losing Elizabeth she didn’t know what to do, she felt lost. She would be up at night “re-living” her friends’ death and crying. She basically mourned a lot and hung on to the negative side of her death. She would talk to Beth a lot about her problems. Took her a while to see that Liz followed her to protect her till the end and all Liz wanted to see is her friend happen again, Like before the first Breach.and Cat took into consideration to use her friends’ death as a chance to open up and start being out spoken.
When she first entered the Battle of Trost, her adrenaline was running and her thoughts were racing, but calmed when Elizabeth re assured her they were going to do okay. She kept a straight face most of the time trying to hide her fear from her team.  She was pulled into helping the others get back to HQ and started to freak a bit when she noticed some of the people that were helping were getting killed off. When she reached the HQ she hugged Liz and didn’t let go fighting back some tears.
               After the breaching of Trost she noticed she relied on Liz to help her way through and wanted that to stop knowing Liz won’t be there one day. Knowing that she was going into the Scouts she knew she needed to man up and be more independent and not relying on Liz to always be there.
  After joining the Scouts she grew into being more independent. She grew into a confident young person.

History:

Her father was a solider in the Military Police so he wasn't always around so she mainly grew up with her Mother and younger brother and sister.  She had a very close bond with her siblings. If they were still hungry after a meal or needed something Cathleen would give up what they wanted. She would normally steal bread when she “runs” out for her mother to satisfy her hunger.  That’s how she meant her childhood friend, Elizabeth, who comes from a richer family Cathleen bumped into her after grabbing herself a roll. Cat had fear in her after realizing that someone caught her stealing. Liz re assured her it’s okay to trust she won’t tell. Cat basically said thanks then brushed her away before heading home. After a while Liz would force herself upon Cat even though Cat gave her the cold shoulder. Liz followed her home and was invited in; Cat gave in and opened up to her.
               On the day the wall was being breached Cat was on her way to Liz’s when hearing a loud blow and the town getting very quiet. She looked up to where everyone else was looking and feel to her knees scrambling on the ground to get to her house, yelling for her mother to come out. Her mother rushed out thinking her child was hurt and looked up at what Cat was pointing at seriously if you don’t know this by now it’s the colossal titan Bert Her mother yanked Cat up off the ground and told her to grab her younger sister as she grabbed her son. Cat raced in screaming for her to hurry and grabbed her hand and started running right as the wall was kicked in. She was struggling to keep up with her mother due to the fact she was focusing on the titans that were entering. Lillian, younger sister, tripped on the rubble watching a titan close in on them, Cat pulled for her to get up but both were petrified with fear. As the titan drew in, then it picked up her sister and drew the screaming girl to its mouth. Cat was reaching for her, holding her hand tightly before fear took over her dropping to her knees as her sisters blood rain down on her. Her father managed to spot her and swooped in to save her knowing that his youngest was gone. He past Cat on to her mother who asked where Lilly was; her father couldn't answer he shook his head and left to help out the rest. Cathleen’s mother had tears in her eyes screaming at Cat to answer her; to tell her how Lilly died, or how Cat was selfish enough not to save her sister. Cat just sat on the boat her eyes widen in fear, covered in blood, and tears streaming. She never spoke a word to her mother about the problem.
               After reaching the inner walls of Trost her mother freaked out on her slapping her telling her to state what happened to Lillian. Cat just got up and wandered away bumping into Liz along the way; she broke down and told Liz what happened, blaming herself for letting Lillian die like that. Liz comforts her until they had to part for a little. After Cat’s family is settled, her mother never forgave Cat for allowing her sister to die and never spoke to Cat unless needed. Long story short Cat’s mother was a complete ass and abused her for letting Lillian die Cat over heard her mother freaking out on Edward Cats younger brother telling him he would not enter the military, that he was all she had left. Cat walked in saying if she was to join he wouldn’t join, until she died. Before Edward agreed her mother answered hugging Cat and crying on her. Later Cat told Liz that she would be leaving and won’t have time to be with her. Liz told Cat she will follow her wherever until the end and stared she was joining. She joined the military under the 104th trainee squad. After she was done with training and survived the Trost Breach she had no regrets and joined the Scouting Regiment.

Cat relied on Liz to basically be there for her all the time. When Liz died Cat couldn’t take losing someone close to her again, but realized Liz’s goal was to protect her until the very end, which she did.
   Bathilda Herman: Cat never really liked her in the start. She felt like her and Liz’s friendship was in danger and the fact she didn’t want to get close to her in fear of losing her. Cat was a bitch to Beth and made her feel uncomfortable. After Liz died Cat cam crawling to Beth for some comfort and slowly opened up to her becoming close. They soon start working together when fighting titans.
  Aednat Hayes: Cat’s mother who absolutely hates her for letting Lillian die. She stopped Cat from eating much and tended to slap her when Cat gets an “attitude”. Basically their relationship is bad they don’t see eye-to-eye, even after Johannes and Cathleen explained she didn't mean to.
   Jean Kirschtein: She developed a crush on him during training. She meant him when she followed Liz , who always talked with Marco, and the fact that Cathleen told Liz that she kind of liked Jean and Liz wouldn’t let it down and wanted her to talk. When the whole Eren and Jean thing went down and Jean commented on Mikasa’s hair she knew she had no chance and felt crushed a little, but got over it thinking “I don’t need anyone to make me happy… we’re all going to die anyways.”
After Liz died she felt like she needed someone to talk to that understood what it felt like to lose someone close. So she consulted to Jean about it. Basically spilled her emotions out to him and failed at fighting back her tears and let out that she had a thing for him. She ended up giving him a long hug in the end whispering “Thank You.”
