Awesome Photo/manipulation, personally I would work on the focal point of the croc's head and maybe try to make it fit more with the photo. The seam between the head and neck area could use some more definition, maybe a shadow of some sort. The head also appears to be laterally offset slightly to the viewer's right.
Another trick might be to relocate the antennae to the croc's head, as that gives more realistic reference as a bug shape.
Immitating some of the bug photo lighting manually on the head could produce some better shadow results, like maybe make the jaw below the eye/nosedarker and make the top of the head lighter, as it appears to have a light source from the right while the bug photo does not.
If you can more closely match the apparent lighting sources it will appear more realistic.
