Need to get out and shoot more. But have been busy. I couldnt find a category that suited this better.. Probably more of a manipulation then a photo.. perhaps. I dont know. Let me know your thoughts.

Nothing fancy really. I shoot in RAW so I messed with the RAW settings that PS gives you. Amped up the shadows and contrast and possibly did something whack to the light.. Changed the temperature of the shot.
Put Vignette to black and max, but then noticed that the clouds good better at 100% while the buildings retained more light at around 80%. Opened both up and cut out the buildings from one and added them over the other. WOO!
So pretty much completely no method in this. Just played with all the slidey bars and hoped for the best.

those photoshop actions (they work in CS2, dont know about other versions) they do a similar thing by the looks of it.

I shall have a look at them. i dont usually favour actions scripts. Id rather mess with things for myself..

Yeah thats fair enough, but the you can look at the individual steps the actions take and the actions are somewhat influenced by the inputs you give it.
