Ok so this is Inutaisho (sesshoumaru& inuyasha's dad) when he was yonger. tried to make it look like the picture was old since these guys live pretty long. (if the kanji on the side is wrong plz let me know and show the right one; supposed to say Inutaisho but i only know kana). if anyone's curious he shows up in the third inuyasha movie- swords of an honorable ruler.Copyright to Rumiko Takahashi none to me

The first kanji, the inu - 犬 is correct. But the rest aren't kanji, and you have a mix of hiragana and katakana for the taisho.
Your ta and sho are correct, although in hiragana, whilst your I is in katakana.
If it was all in hiragana it would look like - たいしょ - which given that taisho is of japanese origens would be correct even though it's not in kanji.
The katakana would be - タイショ - which is used for foreign things, such as foreign names or words that sound the same such as pen, pronounced virtually the same as english and spelt ペン.
An easy way to tell the difference is that the strokes of hiragana seem smoother as opposed to the sharper strokes of katakana. For example the japanese word for flower, hana - はな - as opposed to the foreign name Hannah, which would be spelt the same as flower but in katakana, so - ハナ
Other than that it's a really good picture and I love the way you drew the eyes. It's definitly better than some of the other pictures I've seen on the internet.

In your writing of "Taisho" it's mostly hiragana, and then you have a "i" randomly in katakana, oh and if you're curious "Taisho" is spelled in kanji 大将 or keep up the curly phonetic letters, in which it would look like たいしょう (long "o" in Taisho)
the Inu part is correct though
And the characters look beautiful by the way....
....and so does Inuyasha's and Sesshomaru's Papa

yep, when i was working on this i noticed, Inuyasha is more like his dad than sesshoumaru is. (kinda odd how he hates being related to him.) ^_^ but thanx for the favs.
