Other: Solstice is quite the mystery. No pony knows where she came or how her dark little kingdom ended up on Equestrias maps. There is no doubt she looks a bit like Nightmare Moon herself and there is rumor she was created from the remanence of the evil part of Luna after the Mane 6 defeated her. But unlike Nightmare, Solstice is a lot more peaceful and would rather tend to her subjects than try bringing everlasting darkness.

Solstices kingdom is actually protected by a dark dome that resembles the night sky blocking as little sun as possible but parts of the kingdom, such as farm lands, have just enough sun coming through the dome to allow the kingdom to thrive and live happily. The only real enemy she’d have is possibly Celestia and the Mane 6 if they discovered who she possibly was and saw her as a possible threat to Equestria.
