Mary Sues are considered the worst kind of Original Character. A Mary Sue would be defined as impossibly perfect, no flaws whatsoever, and is the character that gets the most attention from the opposite or same sex. If these characters had flaws, they would be made to look cute. Really cute. Most of the time the Mary Sue would be a self insertion of the author/director, a kind of wish fulfillment if you will. –Wiki.I’ve been reading some more fan fictions, and learning about how crappy some are. I honest to God hate Mary Sues and they’ve been ruining many stories for me.
I guess I could have mention a Mary Stu (A boy version), but girls seem to do it more. :/

Wrong. Being the female antagonist/protagonist does NOT make them a Sue! It tends to be this, yes. BUT NOT ALL OF THEM ARE.

I made this about three years ago when I was ten, I just copy and pasted the description from Wiki. Trust me, if I cared about this picture I would have changed it awhile ago to what I think of Sues today.

Thanks for that. I have a fanfiction with a female protagonist, and I've read several other fanfics with female protagonists and hearing that "female pro/antagonist = Sue" just annoys me to no end.

God mary sues are the bane of roleplay, too.
I really try my hardest to make my characters believable; and according to my friends, I do well. But when I'm having a serious plot and some noob comes in with some super sue character I die a little bit inside.
