Perhaps my favorite aspect of this drawing is the shading of color. I’ve noticed the light shade of pink you gave around Rarity’s body, and how you make her hair look dark in some areas but lighter in others. It makes the body look and feel more three-dimensional. In addition, just like FlutterThrash ’s “Just A Phase”, it perfectly captures the lifestyle of a punk rock fan. Adding such features like the hoofbands, fishnets, jean jacket, earrings, and face piercings makes it feel like this mare is a dedicated fan! Lastly, I adore how you animated her shadow, making sure to darken any area where her body is either close to the ground or touching the ground. While I believe that just drawing a full circle of shadow would have been fine, what you did is still a nice way to show that you have a knack for detail. My only issue with this piece is that Rarity seems to dress too grubbily. Even for a Sex Pistols fan, I don’t think she would be fine with ripping her fishnets or leaving her chest tufted. I pretty sure she would want both of those parts to stay neat. But other than that, this is a very nice piece. Everything from her body to her outfit is greatly detailed, and once again, it understands what it means to be a punk rock fan! Keep up the amazing work, XxsilvixX!
