- HISTORY: Sera grew up in a quiet town with her mom, dad, and three older brothers(the second oldest being twins). She got along best with her oldest brother as he also enjoyed reading and would often recommend new books to Sera.
However, he soon moved away as it was traditional within their family to move out at age 16. The twins also left later on. When her turn came, she was extremely nervous and didn't want to leave the house.
Her parents managed to coax her into it a year later, saying if she didn't like it, she could move back home after a few months.
[EDIT: I fixed Sera's age in the description since she had a birthday a couple months ago. Nearly forgot to change that haha.]

Joseph, the new Mawile in the town, swallows and knocks on the door to your house, swallowing a bit as he tugs on the neck to his sweater. he needed friends in this new neighborhood, and this is the only way he knew how to make them. go right to them! Β He could only hope whoever lives here is actually home instead of somewhere else.

The knock on the door was a very sudden break in the silence that filled Sera's house, causing her to jump. After realizing the noise was simply a guest at the door, she breathed a small sigh and made her way to the door. Sera opened the door and poked her head out.
"H-hello?"

Joseph smiles and waves to the Meowstic as she pokes her head out. "Good evening, Miss. I'm new to the neighborhood and I'm trying to get to know everyone a little better....do you mind if I come in?" he asks a bit sheepishly, hoping his maw doesn't frighten her off.

"Oh... um, sure, come in." Hesitantly, Sera opened the door the rest of the way to let the unfamiliar Mawile in.
The room she led him to was plain with very little color, except for the many potted plants scattered about, and the carpet. The furniture was placed neatly along walls and corners, leaving the middle mostly empty.
"Y... you can sit wherever you like."

Joseph takes off his shoes, leaving them at the door before entering, bowing to her. "Thank you, Miss..." he then blinks. "O-Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. my name is Joseph, nice to meet you..." he cheerfully extends his hand to her, hoping she doesn't get scared of his maw, which is sound asleep behind him, snoring mutely.

Nimsy walked up to the new house, her tail swaying in interest. It had been built suddenly, right near her own, and she decided to come say hey to the newest resident. "Hello?" She gave a soft call, looking around to see if the inhabitant of the new house was around.

Sera let out a small gasp as she heard a voice from outside greeting her. She set down the box she was holding, arms trembling. Everything was still in boxes, piled around the room in uneven and messy stacks. She couldn't let someone in with the house looking like this. Absolutely not. Sera walked to the door and opened it a crack to see the pokemon outside. A shiny ampharos stood at her door, curiously examining the house in search of the owner. She opened the door a bit more so that her new neighbor could see her(and hopefully not the mess behind her).
"um... Hello."

The candy colored Ampharos stepped a tiny bit closer, giving a small wave as she shifted her weight from one foot to another in a casual way. A gentle smile covered her face like a blanket and she let a few seconds of silence draw on before she spoke. "Uh, hello there! I came to welcome you to town.. I'm Nimsy." After another second or two she pulled a small flower pot out of her pockets (who even knows where the pockets come from anymore) and held it out gently. "I brought you a little welcome gift. It's just some flowers, but I hope they're alright anyways~"
