Description
These birds had it rough from the start.
With only a mother, they had little protection from cold, predators, and our dog.
I kept an eye on them and documented their youth.
They were so cute!
But a week ago, fully fledged, they flew-- or tried to-- away with their mother and went on with their lives.
I'll not forget them and their loveliness, though.
