A reimagining of The Ghost of Captain Moody

Captain Moody was a stoic fisherman who went far off the coast of California in hopes of catching bigger fish. But his fishing boat was caught in the middle of a perfect storm. Overwhelmed by heavy rain, strong winds and dangerously large waves, his boat was destroyed, leaving Captain Moody floating amongst the stormy ocean. There, Moody lost his legs to a some sharks who also ripped up his raincoat, before drowning and sinking down to the bottom of the sea. But Captain Moody's restless spirit appears floating over the waters or near the bay, warning the living to not venture into the ocean.
