I am so excited to finally get this on DA, after a week's worth of work!

Lots of trouble in creating it: when I started it up one day, all my colors appeared really bleached out, like someone took the Dodge tool to it. It wasn't on the ACTUAL image, but it seemed to be a program glitch. Not sure why, but anyone who has Corel Painter 11 and has solved this problem, please let me know how you did it!

I tried to make Meta look like he was trying to help Kirby up, hence the title. How did Kirby get clobbered? Was it by Meta Knight, or by Dedede? Hopefully I did a good enough job on Meta's eyes in order to get the point across.

I will admit to using tutorials for this: Meta's metal mask and shoulder armor there, Kirby's tears, the rocks and the lineart.

BUT THE SKY WAS ALL ME, BABY.

While I had lots of success, there's till some things I'm still not sure about. Mostly Dedede's castle and the aura, doesn't look all that...real to me. I really went for some realism here.
