So excited for this movie that I had to get this picture out of my system.

Seriously, this is my most-anticipated movie of the year, if not EVER; I can't tell you how much I need to see this movie. ...Here are a few reasons why:
1. It's an animated Disney film.
2. It's an animated Disney musical, with songs written by Robert Lopez (and Kristen Anderson-Lopez), who is my favourite musical theatre composer at the moment.
3. It's an animated Disney musical with a cast of musical theatre actors voicing the characters; all of the main characters have been in at least one musical, so you know they can sing. I think it's so great that Disney are going back to that old Renaissance-era type of casting, where the voice actors come from theatre/Broadway and even the composer is from Broadway
...Okay, so the musical aspect of the film is the biggest reason for me to be excited; as soon as the first 30-second previews for the soundtrack come out, I will (try and) be the first one there. And as soon as I've got the soundtrack, I am learning ALL of these songs and doing covers of them...unless they're impossible for me to sing...and with Idina singing, that will most likely be the case But I am a little more intrigued by the story now I know a little more about it, the characters looks interesting now I've seen some images of them and hey guess what, it's Disney, I'm not going to hate it.

But I can't help but be disappointed because there has been barely anything released of this film from Disney yet; we only JUST got a teaser trailer last month, 5 months before the film's release in the US. The teaser was cute, but hardly anything to get me interested; I've seen the Japanese trailer, which actually shows some footage from the film, and apparently there's a French trailer released tomorrow, so I'll be on that 8) With the trailers, I think Disney's going the Tangled route or the Princess and the Frog route: start with a comedic teaser trailer with footage that will never be in the actual film, and then release a proper trailer that shows more footage and really sells the movie. I would prefer the proper trailer (which will be released in the fall - THE FALL, CAN YOU BE MORE SPECIFIC) to be more like the Princess and the Frog trailer than the Tangled one, but deep down, I really really want it to be like the trailers of the 90's Renaissance Disney films, where some of the songs from the film are used in the trailer - but unfortunately, times have changed, trailers aren't like that anymore, so it probably won't be likely

ANYWAY, I was gonna wait until a little later to do some fanart, but because I've seen dozens of fanart already as soon as pictures of the characters were released, I couldn't wait any longer and decided to draw Anna and Elsa. Do you know how hard it is to draw CGI characters in a 2D style?! This is why I barely ever draw CGI animation fanart

Elsa looks better than Anna here; Elsa's the one on the left, by the way and Anna's on the right. They are both sisters in the film, so they're roughly the same age; Anna is voiced by Kristen Bell, and Elsa is voiced by Idina Menzel - we haven't heard their voices come out of these characters yet, but oh my God I really need to see it because I was finding it difficult trying to imagine their voices with the face, particularly a voice like Idina's coming out of a character like Elsa - just another thing I'm excited to see/hear! So thought they may not look that alike, they are sisters - yes, Anna is meant to have that lighter streak in her hair; it's in the reference picture. There's kind of a fan theory going on that I know about, but I'm not saying...

The snowflakes were copied from the original picture of Anna and Elsa I used as reference because I could not draw them
