OH MY GOD, IT'S A FANART. And look who it is: it's Lestat and Louis!

Oh, it has been too long. Far too long. Long story short, I discovered the Interview with the Vampire in August of 2009, read four and a half of the books, learnt the entirety of the Lestat musical, drew fan-art, became generally obsessed with the Vampire Chronicles until April/May of 2010, and I started growing out of it altogether. So it's now 2013, and I haven't done anything Vampire Chronicles-related for nearly 3 years. I haven't watched the movie, I haven't read the books and I haven't drawn any more fan-art...UNTIL NOW.

I don't know what made me do it, but I want to start getting back into the Vampire Chronicles, or more importantly, Lestat and Louis. I love these two so much, they are the only real couple from a fandom that I love, though this love is mainly due to Lestat being one of the two people in the couple, and words cannot describe how much I love Lestat So I'm gonna try and draw more LestatxLouis fan-art, especially now since my drawing abilities have improved since 2010 - I looked back at the pictures I drew of the characters in 2010, and hooooooo boy, I actually thought these looked good at the time

I can certainly say now that Lestat and Louis look a LOT better in 2013. From the original designs I made for them, I haven't changed their features that much: Louis' hair is longer and straighter, I wanted to keep his round puppy-dog eyes Lestat pretty much looks the same as before, his hairstyle's just changed a bit - and I KNOW, his hair is meant to be not quite shoulder-length but I'm so used to drawing blonde guys with long curly hair that has to be tied back and it's hot okay. I also had to draw them in those hot puffy shirts that I love so much, though Lestat's looks a bit more feminine, with the frills round the neck In fact, with these 'new' designs, I am greatly inspired by and 's pictures of Lestat and Louis...SO GO AND CHECK THEIR PAGES OUT RIGHT NOW.
