It only occured to me only now that I didn't do an Art Summary before.Now that it's the final day here, I decided to make one for funsies!
Let's take a look at what I did...
January: Nothing.
February: Muscular Scarlet Trainer (www.deviantart.com/xxtheemispr… ): This is probably the first time I buffed up a then-recently revealed human Pokémon character BEFORE anyone else. Competition against those kind of artists are always hard, isn't it?
March: Nothing.
April: Mona Lisa isn't the Same Anymore (www.deviantart.com/xxtheemispr… ) Maybe it's just me, but doing a VERY different Mona Lisa during this April Fools event was giggly-inducing. (Though Argentina winning against France in the 2022 World Cup was unthinkable, at least for the French people)
May: Little Strong Anya (www.deviantart.com/xxtheemispr… ): Since this year featured both seasons of the popular anime series "Spy X Family", I couldn't just stay here without doing a thing. And so here we are (Awkward Laugh).
June: Ran's Yummy Meat (www.deviantart.com/xxtheemispr… ): In Hindsight, Hanamichi Ran has had bad luck back in March when her supposed "Precure" premiere got held back because of 'unforeseen' circumstances (and Pixiv didn't have much mercy on her). So buffing her up when it finally debut was doing her justice.
July: Summertime Koto Yumeno (www.deviantart.com/xxtheemispr… ): Summer was something what with "Lycoris Recoil" in Japan and the heatwave that hit the USA. Nevertheless, I randomly hand-picked a swimsuit girl and did what I had to. :sweat:
August: The New Babysitter (www.deviantart.com/xxtheemispr… ): One day this idea simply popped in my mind: "What would Lisa the Babysitter from Dexter's Laboratory look like if she was buff?". No prizes for guessing what happened next.
September: The Muscular Eggo-Girl (www.deviantart.com/xxtheemispr… ): Making animated characters from commercials muscular is a very unusual thing. So I thought that girl from the animated Eggo commercials was a good selection.
October: Although my edits of Cartoon Network Characters done for the network's 30th anniversary could have been in this summary, I instead choose the redrawn Karmi transformation sequence. I think that alternate versions where characters who originally transfomed into monsters or other kind of transformations become buff instead sounds like a pretty fun concept.
November: Blowin' up Josie (www.deviantart.com/xxtheemispr… ): This one continues from the last paragraph above. Gotta say, the 70s were something if you had scenes like this.
December: Aside Argentina's accomplishment for winning the 2022 World Cup after the 1978 and 1986 victories, I also did another accomplishment. Remembering my long-lost past as a flash animator (Before Adobe Flash in websites were dropped), I churned out my self-proclaimed masterpiece: (www.deviantart.com/xxtheemispr… ) A short female muscle growth animation done as if it was drawn in a genga, and a story that is related to my piece. All this done for December's Christmas day gift. Let's just say that I'm happy with the results. Oh, and that is also some sort of teaser for next year's publication.
