EDIT (READ): Guys, please stop saying that Chrona's a boy/girl. I don't care what the dubs or subs say, ATSUSHI OOKUBO, the CREATOR OF SOUL EATER, said that even he doesn't know what gender Chrona is.
Technically, Chrona is genderless, that's what the creator said; I always refer to her as female though.

Visual kei guys have female shape, but are they girls? no
Chrona's gender hasn't been revale from episode 5 in the manga and 7 in the anime till 105 of the manga. but in in episode 60 (i think)she appears naked (ofcourse you cannot see boobs or her pussy) but she's not using underwar just a sheets so we can say if is he or her, but she looks beautifull O//w//O Oh lovely moments of my live..
What i was trying to say is that the shape you can see in the manga or the anime can prove her gender and of course Doujinshi neither can prove it, you can see mangas of chornalog whit a female chrona having sex with Maka and a Male chrona with Ragnarok!
Till chrona appears using female or male underwear in the manga (because iknow that will be the most extreme case unless soul eater turn into a hentai manga)we would know her gender, all we can do is to wait... one day... I know it it will happen... and someday i will mary her...

It's easy for people who have seen the anime to call Chrona a boy because Chrona is often refured to as Him and He and Son.
But in The Manga it's hard to tell what Chrona is. Chrona has a girls name but acts weird around them.

I am so sorry... but not to be mean to all the ppl who watch the anime and think Crona is a girl or unknown gender... get the crud out of your ear and listen... they clearly say HIS, HE, and SON! In the manga no one knows for sure but in the anime they clearly say that! I am the biggest fan of Crona... i love Crona to death and i call him my baby boy... so please know he is a guy... it is said and shown he is clearly a guy... sure some signs point to girl... like the way he hold his arm when he walks and the dress... but the way he acts around girls, the way he sounds like a young man, and his face points to being a guy... case closed!

Guys Crona does NOT have a gender. They refer it as a "he" in the dub because it would be way to confusing and yes he does look a lot more feminine in the manga but he is not a "she" in that either. It is proper to refer to things without genders [like in Spanish] as male because it is the "dominating" gender. Even the creator does NOT know his/her gender.

No problem. It makes me so mad when people go on about it. I mean seriously… Crona may look male in the anime or female in the manga and he/she may be called "he" in the anime but thats for a very specific reason and it doesn't actually mean he/she is male. Although I personally prefer Crona as male I know that he/she may very well be female.

I have to agree with you here. When Chrona first came out I saw that s/he got nervous around Maka, so I thought Chrona was a boy. I've watched plenty of subbed versions of Soul Eater- each said Chrona was male or female, but most said they were female- so that's what I thought of Chrona as. It didn't matter if Chrona said "boku," hell, I'm a female myself and I say "boku" as well. those familiar with TWEWY (the world ends with you) Rhyme, Beat's little sister, uses "boku" too. I don't care what gender Chrona is, whatever the creator has decided or will decide. He needs to make up his mind, and fast, or some of SE's biggest fans will start raging. I've actually emailed the creator quite a few times to ask him what gender Chrona was, and all he responded was "I haven't decided yet." I hate how they don't tell us, quite a few of us would really like to know. if they released a second season of SE, they MIGHT give some hint of what the creator has decided for Chrona, but I highly doubt there will be another season. sorry for this long comment
