I love the use of the old school pixel background. <3 I'm a tad confused why the Metroid is drooling but I love Samus' pose the background and your use of colors.

This is amazing.

There's the detail on Samus...amazing. It's quirky in it's appearance because Samus isn't exactly proportional. I love it. The charge beam looks beautiful. The background is so retro and really makes this one both a retrospective hit and a modern piece of awesomeness. I notice a lotta small things that look awesome--Samus's cannon, her legs, her helmet, etc. The Metroid looks great and does not stray from the overall look that went into this piece. In general, this pwns.
