So finally here's a pic of my version of Mannimarco's staff as it is now standing in our living room (so don't mind the wardrobe in the back
)I tried to follow the desing like it appears in the trailer from TESO and the concept artworks.
It took me many hours of blood and sweat (I still have some scars from my hot glue pistol Β ) to finish it and I sacrificed my 4 weeks-summer-holidays last year for it (together with the robes). It wasn't that easy to find a way to build it solid but also light enough and I changed some things afterwards because I didn't like them. I don't know how many hours I've spend, but I think in the end it was worth it.

I support necromancy, my main dova is a necromancer/lich. IΒ never tried my hand at cosplay, so the quality of the staff looks legit to me

Beautiful work, it looks very authentic, very dark and grim. The tarnished and weathered look to the spikes at the top looks really good. And the skull is fantastic, It was certainly well worth your time and effort!

Just try it out!
I've never done something like this before either, so it was like "try and error" for me. I think it's important to have good references like concept arts, videos etc. to get an idea on how to start with a project like this. I made my own sketches on a crappy piece of paper to get a feeling for the right proportions and after that I bought all the materials for it. Β

I always thought it's expensive with all those materials but it's not that bad. I spent less than 50$ for everything. The most expensive thing was my free time

And that thing is standing in our living room all the time and pretty much one of the first thigns guests see when they come in
Anyway, great job on that staff. Personally, nothing I would like to run around with all day (but also I am not a badass necromancer

You will never convince me to join your side, never 
I find the size also unfitting and unbalanced with that large head. I prefer stuff like swords that are more balanced or slim style staffs like that of Vanus.
