First of all I didn't draw this, this is the official line-art from the upcoming TMNT "Back to the Sewer" series, so please don't give me credit for the line-art!! In fact I didn't even find it... did. So give her credit for that (where she found it I don't know, but she's a Goddess for it!)I'm so excited for the new show that's coming out so when I saw the line-art I just HAD to color Mikey! Which I did...this is my interpretation of what he'll look like when they preview him in the next coming Thursdays...I just couldn't wait that long!!!
Artwork doesn't belong to me, I just colored him is all, it belongs to the fine people at 4Kids TV/Entertainment and Mikey of course belongs to 4Kids and more specifically the wonderful people at Mirage. Please don't sue! I just did this for fun and my own amusement and excitment over the new show is all...don't hurt me!! *cowers*

Thank you! The actual Mikey (that they showed this week) looks fairly similar to this...it's just it seems they went more with a darker color scheme than I did...and for that...I like what I chose better!

I know, I wanna see Raphie and Splinter already! And yeah, I'm pretty sure they will show Splinter, it would be weird if they didn't. I wonder how much they altered him... Hmm.

Awww! He has blue eyes! I don't really mind the pupils, it's something different, though it never bothered me when they had no pupils, so meh, ^^ I hope the new show is good,

I'm excited about his baby blues (even though I always knew all the Turtles when I was growing up had brown eyes... 
But most importantly is....that the show is well done and overall GOOD!

they're doing it to tie it into the Imagi style that we saw in TMNT. It's a marketing scheme... I like it like that personally. They were there in the original series...

I don't know...I have two theories on it...
1) They really want the designs to be different and to vary them from the 2K3 and "Fast Forward" series, thus making it very easy to decipher between them
-or-
2) They're trying to meld the 2K3 and movie look together thus this is the result! Voilà!
Personally it's not such a bad thing, must be I'm getting used to it, when I first saw them I thought, "What the hell? Pupils?!" But now I kinda like 'em, I think it's nice.
And for some reason not having pupils is unnartural! lol! To me at least...
