well, i never really thought about it. if i were to ship kaneri, it'd be <3< (but i would ship erisol caliginously any day) but the thing is i don't really like eridan enough to ship him, out of spite. ._. i mean i don't hate him either. i understand that he was 13 and had a lot of feelings but he... -long sigh-

Eridan is an asshole no doubt but he still needs love. In my headcanon he blinded himself up by looking at the sun to pay for his sins.
The humor factor about janekri is karkats on ancestor has the hots for egberts nanna xD. Another headcanon used for this pairing;
Kankri got tired of everyone abandoning him and treating him like he is nothing so he snapped at everyone before leaving them. Then he met with the Alpha kids who quickly grew attached to each other like family. He asks Jane to teach him how to bake while slowly advances to her.

For eridan after three sweeps he had gone blind but has matured enough by seeking solitude. He then reunites with kanaya who was heartbroken by rose breaking up with her. He still told her how beautiful and kind she is and bam! They forgive each other and vecame a pair.
