The 66th Festival of a Thousand Flames: Fire Attack on Tōrōgakure (1260, Summer):
- He was once again reminded that peace is never going to come.
- Due to attack his sister got wounded.

Winter, 1260 − The Day of the Attack:
- When the Village was attacked one of his teammates was injured.
- At this point Utaro would really start to feel unsafe.

Tarou's Death and Funeral:
- Besides sadness and anger caused by the attack, Utaro felt scared and uneasy for he had a feeling something much more terrible is yet to come.
- This is the first time in his life that he actually was thankful to his father for forcing him to become a shinobi. He never said it though.

Political Factions:
- Utaro really didn't want to chose sides as he always believed that his village was epitome of unity.
- All of that mess got him really devastated and disappointed in people around him.
- Utaro would link Aihiko's leaving the village to him being disappointed or maybe feeling unsafe.

Mugon becomes Clan leader:
- Even though Utaro didn't know Mugon personally he was always admired him because he was a prodigy in Ningyo no Koe.
- As Mugon was also the one who was leading the village, Utaro would start admiring him even more. Also Utaro would feel proud to be the same clan as Mugon.

Akihiko's return to Tōrōgakure:
- Once again he got some hope that village will get back to what it was.
- That doesn't mean that he started feeling safe. Due to rumors about of groups of travelers getting brutally murdered is the reason why.
His team breaking-up:
- Due to bad injury his teammate Raijin had to retire, which was followed by breaking the team up. Soon after Hitsu got married to Raijin which caused her to quit the shinobi life and continue her parents' business (farming peaches).
