Teary-eyed, but still not defeated, the brown cat walked along the ground. Sharp edges of the rocks stabbed into her feet like thorns, causing cuts all over her feet.
As Zezz shakily continued to search helplessly for help, she could feel her breaths becoming thinner until they would be nothing more than a pinch of air. Tears rolled down her face, mixed with dark blood. The pain in her eyes was very noticeable; she hurt herself too many times, and now it was time to end this torture. She loved being the bright cat she was, but ever since she had started going through depression, more of her darker side showed, and it kept her from feeling secure.
Zezz let out a snarl of pain; her fur was stained in blood outside of her cuts, and there were stitches breaking on her cuts as she walked. "Why did it have to happen to me?" she hissed. Her arms were covered in scars, scars that would never go away now. The stitch on her neck was enough. No one ever questioned it, anyway. She lifted her long bang on the side of her face up, and pulled out a pin, pinning it to the side of her head so both sides of her face could be revealed.
On the right side of her face, it was normal: her wide eyes, whiskers, fluffy other half of her hair, and everything else. But on the left side of her face, it was different: Her skin was white/red like bone or wood, and her mouth stayed halfway open with stitches going over the mouth. Her eye was black, showing a faint dark red pupil; stained blood was under her eye and the bottom part of her mouth. Sometimes it would bleed, but she couldn't feel anything. It only meant that half of her face would become stronger and it would be more easier for it to take control of Zezz.

She wrapped her hand around a skinny tree, but then let out a small yowl of pain, pulling her hand off the tree. She looked at her palm; it had one long cut, blood staining around the cut and some of the dark blood dripping on to the sharp ground.
Zezz hated being in pain; she had no idea why it happened to her. Everything was falling apart.. all her good memories were now turned to evil, and now she would soon have to leave her home and everything. She had gone out for a small walk to see if the butterflies were out yet in a nearby garden, but they weren't. And now somehow the ground had changed to sharp rocks. Zezz had wanted to give up. Soon she would be able to lie here and wait until she would be falling into dark.
She wanted to be hung when she would die, but in this situation she couldn't be hung anywhere. She would have to just lay there, bleeding until she wouldn't be able to breathe. Her breaths grew sharper, and she new this was a sign of death. She yowled in pain, tears furiously leaking out of her eyes and down on to the ground. She screamed, getting up and raising her arms in the air. "I will not die today!" she spat. "There will be better days!"
But suddenly, she covered her neck with both of her paws, screaming, but the screams only came in as a quiet wheeze. She fell to the ground on her knees, crying. Why was this happening? What bad had she ever done? The sharp rocks stabbed into her legs, causing more horrible pain.
As she let out a final screech, she flopped over to face the sky. The sun's rays bled through the trees nearby, shining down on her. It just caused more pain; and no, she wasn't a vampire. She could feel her body dying out, her spirit about to leave her body. As she took one last wheezy and sharp breath, she closed her eyes.

Zezz was dead.
