Yeah I personally would prefer Batman to win of course since he is (in my opinion) way cooler...however realistically with no tricks of "preplanned (superman giving him time to gear up)" gadgets created from space materials, THIS is what a toe to toe fight would look like haha

Thank you, I'm not sure who "will" win. Although I'm more of a batman fan than superman, I am yet to see how superman would be at a loss here. Batman would have to have some SERIOUS time to prep for this to stand a chance... which leads me to believe superman is holding back a little

You're Welcome! There are a number of ways Batman could win even if Superman didn't hold back. Bathe the area in Kryptonite radiation, stun him with hypersonics, create red sunlight, and the list goes on. It's all about being one step ahead, something Batman is very good at doing.

They would all work and I would agree, but again he would have to know his target is coming in order to have that stuff readily available. So I would imagine(although i have not read the book) the movie will probably build it somewhat like a grudge match...time place, research, prep, tactics.
Which is viable I guess. Although I do hate to admit that without the preparation a simple toe to toe, superman would just pick him up and fly to space while he waits for batman to run out of air lol

If he had time to prepare he'd be well aware of Superman's approach. And there are ways to detect it, like monitoring for supersonic disturbances.
Depends on the prep. Also, I'm not really looking forward to the movie. I'd much rather see a straight up team up than a fight.

yeah I would imagine that's what they will have for us afterwards. I would imagine they somehow become allied, superman realises the error of his ways and then as marvel has the Avengers, DC will have justice league in Hollywood format

lol, well the basic trailer looks pretty cool. weird at first thinking of Ben Aflec as batman, but he did a good job with daredevil dispite the "not so great" film itself. We shall see
