That is a hand print on Kage's face. Torin has a black eye and some cat scratches. Ya don't mess with the female soccer players (especially while they're dressing.)

This is... completely random... It doesn't (and may never) really have a place in the storyline. It's one of those gag comics which starts with 'I want to see this one thing happen' and ends up as a sequence (since it wouldn't make any sense at all otherwise.) As far as Kage's dialogue... Sometimes it seems to me like an awful lot of shit hits the fan after Torin and Kage meet. But then, a lot of good things happen too, so... [Shrugs]

I spent the entirety of a day on this; worked from start to finish in practically one sitting. WOOT! Though my hand may fall off now... For once, I am happy with my boys' faces in every panel! I could die happy at this moment... The lines were sketched and inked, then I scanned it and went to town in Photoshop, playing with the halftones. I probably overworked it a little, but oh well. ...I like it.

Oh yeah, and that doorknob? Totally off the top of my head. Hence why it makes no mechanical sense.

Materials/Tools: a variety of Micron and PITT pens; sketch paper (the not-so-shitty kind); Wacom Graphire tablet; Photoshop 7; (note: that photo used for the second panel is my own)
