Thanks I used watered down acrylics for the base colours and coloured pencils for the fur.

Base colours are just the general flat colours of the character you lay down first. By laying down the base colours first you eliminate all the white paper specks that would show through if you just went straight into doing the fur detail

You;re welcome. I learnt mostly just from practice and trying out different techniques with pencils. I use 'Derwent artist' coloured pencils

Hard to say as I haven't actually sat down and timed how long I take. This portrait took me around 5 hours to colour, however, I seem to be taking longer recently. Maybe because I'm drawing them a bit bigger now.

Yep, that's him His name was simply Chibi back in GNG. It gt changed (or upgraded ) to Tesshin in GDW. His design also changed a fair bit.

Yep. I use watercolour for the base colours as it helps get rid of all those white specks of paper that usually show through with coloured pencils
