No, I used a polarizer and that is it. I then did some dodging and burning in photoshop.

Majestic photo James. The strong contrast it really brings out the photo. I also like how the brightest spot created by the man made rain leads your eyes to follow into what seems to be an infinite stretch of pipes watering the land, then it leads you to the ridge of the mountains and finally into a magnificent cloud filled sky allowing you to take it all in.

Thanks man! this was taken on my trip to New Mexico in October and I asked the guy driving the van to pull off at the next dirt road we saw. Well, he missed the first two and ended up on one with an irrigation boom in the perfect spot to get the symmetry between the curves of the boom and the mountain and all lit by the setting sun. It had to have been fate or something.
