I really like this one. I think I have a soft spot for lonely trees. The greens and the grey fog really create a nice entirety and this really makes me thirsty for tea. I think, Iยดm gonna go fetch a cup

lol let me guess, green tee

You're not the only one who has a soft spot for lonely trees, they make a good photo subject. I was just lucky enough to know where this tree was and lucky enough to get a magnificent fog like this.

Thanks

The vibrant greens work great with the gray fog.

MY GOD!
There's FOG? I didn't even notice right away! XD

Actually I was too busy admiring the greens...such lovely, lovely greens...That grass is just...amazing...

Hehe, I really do love it though. I love how there seems to be a sense of movement...freedom almost. It's very calming and that tree does have something special about it. It makes me feel excited, as if I'm witnessing some grand new story about to take place, and I really, really want to know what happens, but I'm just forced to wait. Even as the time keeps ticking away, and I'm growing more and more anxious, I still just have to wait... Whoops, got a bit literature-y there XD

It's really great though. The colors are fantastic, and I love that there's fog in the background.
The gray-white adds a perfect balance to this shot, and I like how there appears to be dips and such in the land itself.

I also like how there appears to be a house, or a shed or something in the far background. It kind of makes me wonder a little more =]
I also like how there are some whites and purples mixed into the greens, it adds just a little touch of ...uniqueness in a way ^^

Great job in all!!
Congrats to you on getting such a capture!
And, if I could, would you mind if I tried writing a poem to this? Credit and a note sent to you with the prize inside is guaranteed xD

Thanks for this very idepth comment of yours. I always appreciate it when people take time to say something about photos and or art in general

Haha I though the fog was kinda obvious , but I guess the foregroud is the first thing people see in the photo. That part is kinda the only place where the land rises more than just few centimeters, most of the land around there is just flat... which makes me sad

Oh and the weather was as calm as it can really get, there was no wind at all, I think the moisture in the air pushed the grass down , as it was reaaaaaly tall
The purple in the grass are some wild flowers that grow in those parts.

I have no objections against you writing a poem of this, so go ahead

You're uberly welcome! ^^

Yeah, I think I just got a bit dazed with all that green, such lovely...lovely green. Our grass doesn't look that green, never seen grass so..
Ohhhh, that IS kind of sad =[

Which way does the sun set/rise here? Because I bet that'd make a killer sunrise/set shot!

Oh really? That's neat! I guess I was fooled by the moisture then! XD Wouldn't be the first time either, *sigh*
Mmmm, yes! I figured so. Aaa flowers ^^

Ooo cool! I shall tuck it into my mind, and if I'm lucky, I'll get something out of it tonight ^^

Haha , I bet the grass is greener on the other side

Around those parts, where I took this photo, you can't actually see the sunrise ( too many trees on the way ). Sun set I've actually haven't gone and watch, but I think you can see it setting behind the trees from one place around there.

For sunsets I usually head to some other places, sun rises I haven't actually taken photos of yet.

Ohohoh, I see what you did there! xD

Ohhh those trees! There's been this spot I've been going to recently for sunset shots and the damn trees are in the way at the very end of it DX
Oooo, sounds like a good opportunity to try it out! ^^

I'm hoping to take some sunset shots at the beach, but unfortunately any beach near us is like an hour away, and it's tricky trying to plan out what would be a good day to go as opposed to another day, since the weather changes so much >_<

Legasp! You should try some sunrises. I've only seen a couple myself but it can be really, really wicked ^^

Well here in Finland you'll only see tree for miles, unless you go up north, and it's hard to find a spot at the shore where there are no islands in the horizon.

I know the feeling of having to trek for hours, I kinda have to do that pretty much always , but you have to work hard for good photos

Surises are bit harder here in Finland, unless it's Autumn or Winter, since the sun tends to rise earliest around 3:30 4:30 am during summer time lol
