haha pointers on coloring...hmm i just use a regular 36 pack of crayola colored pencils! i don't really use anything special >~< lol and i mix lots of colors together, like when something is supposed to be green, around the highlights i make it yellow, and for purple the highlights are bright pink. and lots of black for shading! i dont know if that helps you any hahahaa hope it did a little though!

I can see you paid a lot of attention on the details!
Those frils ust have taken a terrible amount of ime, but it was definetly woth it!
The poses are cue, too! And I really like how you kept the focus on the figures by keeping the background simple.
You also brought out the winter theme really well, although the clothes donΒ΄t look like they would keep the girls warm. ^^
Do you have a painting or photo programm like photoshop?
You cold try transforming the whole pic into blue tones, that might give te dawing even more atmosphere.
An donΒ΄t stress yourself with the shading! The vey soft shading you did here really fits the picture!
Hard lights and shadows can ruin the mood!
Also next to the verdetaled frills the rest of the girls outfits look almost plai,you could try ading patterns on the cloth
and add more flying strands of hair to give the poses more movement.
Altogether your picture shows me that youΒ΄re a very patient artist, keep that up!
ThatΒ΄s definetly one of your stong points!

If you donΒ΄t have a editing programm, you could try drawing and shading in one color.
For example only use blue crayons in different shades.
IΒ΄m sure it would go along well with your soft shading style.
Or try dding shades in different colors, for example in a more greenish hue.
Experiment a little!

Early? it started snowing 18th october here -_-
