I assume this is done in oil paints? Very nice with the details and the water looks quite
realistic.

Yes are oil paints. The etude has been made from nature for 3 hours. Details are added in a workshop.

One day I hope to paint in Nature also. I saw a show on TV when
2 artists painted the Swiss Alps and it was enjoyable to watch.
They had to quickly block the composition and add the colors before
the lighting changed.
