The body detail is just amazing. Such clean lines. And you manage to make ever bump and ridge just pop out on her. To be honest...she is my favorite of the Showa villains. I know that is bad to say when you got critters like Gyaos and Barugon...but I found her to be so much more interesting. She had a motive. She wanted that damn whistle gone. And she set out to start reproducing her young. She was not a random monster that just stomped around.

Thanks~ I'm also a pretty big fan of kaiju with real motives, like the Gappa couple wanting their baby back, and similarly Gorgo looking for its offspring, and a whole slew of Ultraman mosters. Jaiger is incredibly hard to draw! I used a gashapon figure as a reference to get the face and legs right.

She is difficult I will admit. At least, that is if you are trying to draw her accurately. I find only the X-Plus models do her any justice. Even though the move had a lot of cutbacks on it...it is still my fav. I just wish she was given an actual "theme", as opposed to a modified Gurion theme.

It's mostly the face I had trouble with. there's a lot going on there, detail wise. Quadrupedal kaiju are always rad in my book, really.
