Here's the story to go along with it:

The hot sun beat down on Germany as he commenced with his training. As sweat ran down his face he saw Italy just starting to arrive. He was always late. Though it seemed that he was holding something behind his back and his odd hair curl was shaped like a heart.
"Ve~ Doitsu! Doitsu!" Italy shouted, running over to Germany. Which caused him to sigh.
"Hallo Italy. What is it that you want now?" Germany asked. "You are thirty minutes late to training."
"But Doitsu~ I was late for a good reason," Italy explained.
"What is it Italy?" Germany sighed again.
"I... well I..." Italy stumbled over his words.
Germany frowned, this was extremely unlike Italy.
"What is it Italy?" Germany asked again.
"I, well, I got you flowers," Italy rushed and shoved the flowers that were in his hands into Germany's chest.
"Dankes," Germany said and smiled.
Italy blushed.
"I'm glad you like them," He responded.
"Of course I do, they are from you," Germany told him and pulled him into a hug.
Looking down at the Italian he placed a chaste kiss on his forehead.
