How do you go from the sketch to the painting? In your background tutorial you seem to do it all on one layer, but do you just paint overtop of the sketch? or

Shading - I know how light and shadows work but shading is always a point I wish to know how to draw accurate for the matter (Ponys have fur and are not made of stone)

Anatomy - My personal enemy

This could apply to traditional as well. I've never done anything digital before, but this helps me. I always picture some awesome ideas but I have trouble turning them into full pieces. Thanks for this! ^w^

скетчи надо делать от сердца, если не хочется делать тон, ну и не надо

Согласен)
По сути тон уже скорее для большей призентабельности делается, а "от души" тут только первые 4 пункта)
