*adds Galleon and Arshtat to the title too* ^_^Meh... I think I ended up breaking my resolve to never make fanart of stuffies I truly, truly, truly love by coloring this in. Hopefully I haven't distorted poor Georg, Ferid, Galleon (I won't say anything about Arshtat since I know I have!) too much?
Medium: Pencils (Faber-Castell kiddy ones) on parchment

Seeing Ferid and Georg's adorable faces (well, they look squee-worthy in the wallpaper atleast!
) every morning ever since they replaced Veniti on meh desktop forced me to doodle this. And then later with having nothing to do on the last day of meh class (Whee! My workshop finished! I'm freeeee!! XD), it got colored in?[Ah, and Galleon got added in since I loved Galleon to bits!]
...They don't look like themselves at all do they?
*kills self*I never really thought I'd end up making Georg and Ferid though? Somehow I had always wanted to sketch the dragon knights. *loves all the 'red' and 'blue' knights! XD*

I can't say anything about the game because I don't know it - but I like that your characters here look unique in their facial features, different from your other ones. Other artists just have some kind of stock-face they equip with some additional features depending on who they draw, but thpose guys here look different from everything I've seen from you so far!
I also dig the pencil coloring, your pencils always look so warm and soft *_*

Whenever I'm attempting to make fanart, I do try to keep the charries as similar to their original selves and copy the artist's style? Otherwise... I'd just feel like I was distorting them or something?
[It's funny though, when someone tries to commision me and wants me to imitate someone's style and make something unlike what I like drawing, I throw fits. XD Somehow then I just cannot bring myself to copy! *ish weird - loves kicking money away and being poor?*]

the copying of the original artwork's artist's style happens to me too sometiems when drawing fanart, though never on purpose. I don't know whether that's good or bad either, I guess it doesn't matter much. I just find it interesting.

Fanart? Why not? You're pretty good at it, then again I'm not familiar Suikoden anything ;_;. They seem like such *must - not - fangirl*... interesting characters! Their costumes and everything are so detailed! I'm sure you've portrayed them very correctly.

Hem... I suppose I never would like to make fanart of my most favourite games since I could never ever make it like the original artist? And then, for me, that would be like ruining the whole er... incredible-ness of the thing I love so much? [I suppose that's why I'll probably never make any Ivalice-based-game fanart.] Did that make any sense?

You shouldn't worry so much about being faithful to the original art... I personally prefer seeing fan art in the artist's original style... but that's just me. Your art rocks all the same.

after you play radiata very little will compare because its so darn funny. and its made by the same people who made the really boring star ocean.
