"Take a deep breath, please"I was recently thinking about the concept of a "doctor"
A doctor is someone who heals, someone who you need to trust blindly to help you and think only about what's best for you. A doctor is someone you go to when you're feeling your worst, and you have faith in them to bring you back to health.
I Imagine Orochimaru isn't comfortable relying on other people. It's an interesting concept, to think that he trusts someone so much as to come to them for help.

Just FYI, this picture is set in the time after the attack on the leaf village attack but before Orochimaru transfers to a new body. He is suffering from the Third's curse.

Aw man, this is awesome. xD I love that aspect of their relationship, because you're right - it really is something that Orochimaru puts his trust in Kabuto so wholeheartedly. It's incredible, actually... The fact that Orochimaru, who is certainly no fool, can put his trust in him makes it pretty obvious that Kabuto really is trustworthy and loyal. Which, although it doesn't entirely make up for the things he's done, leads me to believe there's some hope for him yet... (I always thought it would be awesome if Kabuto ended up one of the good guys, except that I didn't want him to betray Oro...maybe right before he dies or something. Because he is going to die before the series ends...I'm sure of it. *morbid thoughts*)

I always found it interesting that although Kabuto is considered a "bad guy" He has a lot of "good guy" traits.

It's nice to see a picture of Kabuto as a more traditional doctor. Most of the time in the anime we just see him using his chakra to heal people, we don't get to see his more regular-doctor duties. It's good that Oro found someone he could trust. (And it's good for Kabuto too, because he doesn't get killed when he tries to help him, like nameless lacky #35)

Yeah, you can't really use chakra to look for symptoms can you? I tried to think about how my doctor does check ups when I drew this.

Awww...... That can't be good for someone who doesn't trust people. You know, Kabuto probably forced him to accept him, somehow, like the part where Orochimaru needs a new body. I guess everyone needs to rely on someone else sometimes.
