Province: Askapius
Denonym: Askapian
Prefix/suffix: Askapo-

Known for: Luxury Onsens, Utari culture fusion
Capital population: 2.2M
Cities:
Online domain/ IATA: AK, ASK
Description:
From Utari As+Kapiw = Hear the gull!) Because a large number of Utari people were used to explore the newly found continent, once collectively called Askapius, and the sing of seagulls was the first thing they noticed when reaching the mainland.

One of the top least inhabited and top most Tomonese prefectures of Ackacqua due to the same reason; a seizable number of Utari can be found in the largest wharves.

Description:
The second prefecture to be created after Askapius, due to the distance from Ikasumi it was needed to.

The etymology of Yuko comes from Tomonese 優光, meaning excellent light, this because there isn't much light throughout the year compared to other places more southward, but when there are lights (Aurora borealis especially), they are beautiful and useful.

Province: Quanash
Debonym: Quanashi
Prefix/suffix: Quana-
Capital: Cheslatta
Known for:
Capital population: 556K
Cities:
Online domain/ IATA: QN, QNA
Description:
From Qamas' flower because it's popular within the region, after the Tomonese expanded South, and enough people moved to the more temperate climate of Quanash, it became its own prefecture breaking up from Yuko.
The prefecture is a bit of a logistical challenge for both Ocamia and Ackacqua, since it gives access to Ocamia to the sea thus generating tensions between the two.

Province: Wampum
Denonym: Wampumese
Prefix/suffix: Wampo-
Capital: Klipsan
Known for: Seashells
Capital population: 890K

Chimayo temple is subject of many pilgrimages coming from Huitzimilco and the Oshachan.

Both flags from Oshachque and Chimayo portray the Chimayoan sun, and depict vivid talavera colors, due to the pottery practices in colonial times under the Castainiard empire.

The dry prefecture, it was one of the most recently acquired provinces for Ackacqua, after seizing it from Huitzimilco along with Chimayo. it was poorly developed before Ackacquan engineers installed the aqueducts that allow life to thrive in Yellowcliff.
